Three or Four Rolls Calendar Machine

Chilled alloy cast iron rolls with proper cambering, hollowed for efficient cooling/heating are provided. Depth of the chill is taken care of for narmal wear.  Journals of rolls are machine ground. Nip roll adjustment is manual or motorized as required.

Journal Boxes & Bushes

Made out of cast iron with adequate wall thickness and machined to close tolerance. Bushes are of phosphorous bronze of laboratory tested composition.

Reduction Gear Boxes

Greaves / Elecon / Shanti make worm reduction gear box or appropriate specification with torque absorption couplings on motor and machine ends are provided for eliminating power losses.
